Cosori Smart Air Fryer 5.8Qt
Best WiFi air fryer in the Cosori lineup · ~$95–$110 on Amazon
The Only Cosori With WiFi — Is It Worth It?
The Cosori Smart Air Fryer is the only current Cosori model with WiFi connectivity and smart home integration. In terms of cooking hardware, it's nearly identical to the 5.8Qt Classic — same 1,700W, same 5.8Qt basket, same 400°F ceiling. The $10–20 premium buys you the VeSync app ecosystem: remote monitoring, 100+ guided recipes, Alexa routines, and a surprisingly useful "preheat now, I'll be home in 10 minutes" workflow.
If you're not already in the Alexa or Google ecosystem and don't intend to use the app, save the money and get the Classic. But if you regularly use Alexa routines or want to monitor cooking from another room — especially useful when entertaining — the Smart model provides genuine everyday value.
VeSync App Features — What Actually Works
📱 Remote Start & Stop
Works reliably once WiFi is set up. Start a preheat before you walk in the door. You must load food first — the app can't do that part.
🍳 Guided Recipes (100+)
The app sends time and temp directly to the fryer for each recipe. No manual adjustment needed. Quality of recipes is above average — tested a dozen, all came out well.
🔊 Alexa Voice Control
"Alexa, start the air fryer on Chicken preset" — works after VeSync skill enablement. Can also check status ("is the air fryer still running?") via voice.
⚠️ 2.4GHz WiFi Only
The Smart model requires 2.4GHz WiFi (most home networks have this, but dual-band setups may need network selection during setup). Not compatible with 5GHz-only networks.

What Customers Are Saying
"I have Alexa in every room and this fits right in. I say 'Alexa, start the air fryer for chicken' and it just works. The app recipes are surprisingly good — we've tried maybe 30 of them and only had one that didn't come out well."
"Love being able to preheat from the couch. My evening routine: start preheat via Alexa, come in and load food, dinner's done 20 min later. Cook quality is identical to the Classic — same basket, same heating element. The WiFi is the only real difference."
"WiFi setup took 10 minutes. The app is polished and the recipe library is better than I expected. One gripe: notifications are aggressive unless you turn them off manually in app settings. Once I did that, perfect experience."
